BFCC MEETINGS CALENDAR – 2013 & 2014 – FEES – DIRECTIONS

Sun 6 April 2014 9.30am at Cullompton Cricket Club Landspeed Meadow Duke Street Cullompton Devon EX15 1DW.

10am – Tuition (until 3pm), 11.30am Distance Badge Scheme (optional) and Competition entry (optional) fee £15.00, payable in advance. B100, #5, #7, T27, T38 and T120 Distance Competitions – Members competition entry £5.00, but tuition and Badge entry FOC as usual. Refreshments available, tea or coffee £1.00, sandwiches £1.50. Directions: Leave M5 at J28. From round about travel west on Station Road B3181 for 300yds. At round about bear left south west into High Street then over round about straight on into Fore Street B3181 for 250yds. Turn left south east into Cockpit Hill (very narrow, sign low down, building projects) which becomes Duke Street and travel 400yds. The Cricket Club is 100yds on the left past Chestnut Avenue. There is a sign, which includes the Cricket Club, at the entrance.

Satnav will take you a short way into Duke Street, then follow the directions above.

For Google Earth users enter EX15 1DW – the entrance is 100yds past Chestnut Avenue on the same side.

Directions: Leave M20 at J10. At rd.abt. take A292 (Hythe Rd.) towards Ashford. Go straight over traffic lights (Church Rd. on left). After passing Waterside (a road) on left, travel straight on 300yds to a narrow entrance on left with a small sign Willesborough Cricket Club, which is easy to miss. It is next to house number 328. If you reach Albemarle Rd. (100yds on left) go back.

For Satnav users, enter post code TN24 0NE followed by number 328. However, for Google Earth users, enter code TN24 0HL – the Cricket Club entrance on Hythe Rd. (A292) is very close to the Albemarle Rd. junction.

Satnav and Google Earth users should enter SY11 4AB, which will take you there precisely. On Google Earth there is a narrow lane with large buildings to the right going north from the A495, 250yds east of the A5 round about – the Rugby Club is to the right of this lane.

Directions: From the A5 take the A495 going east from Oswestry to Whittington. Travel 250yds from the A5 round about and turn left into the showground lane signed Oswestry Rugby Club (on right hand side), the rugby posts should be visible from a distance. If you reach Burma Road (450yds on the A495), go back.

Sun 14th July 2013 9.30am BFCC at Aldermaston Recreational Society, Aldermaston, Reading, Berkshire, RG7 4PR

Directions: Leave the M4 at junction 12 (Theale) on the A4 towards Newbury. After 4 miles at round about take the first turning off on the A340 towards Aldermaston Wharf. Continue on the A340 through Aldermaston Village and follow the road to the right – watch for the 30mph speed camera – then take the first turning off the round about which is still the A340 (Paices Hill). Go straight through a small round about and at the next large round about take the first left turning – still A340. Then take the first left signed West Gate and within the site take the second right to the Recreational Society car park (Do not take the first right).

For Google Earth use co-ordinates 51 21 46N, 1 09 23W, and for SatNav users the post code RG7 4PR will take you to the main site entrance about half a mile east of the Recreational Society. If you reach there, proceed to The West Gate using their directions.

Sun 8 Sept 2013 9.30am BFCC at Lochinch Police Club Pollock Country Park Glasgow G41 4SN – In association with The Glasgow Casting Club

Note that on Satnav the postcode above only takes you to the gates of Pollock Park. The clubhouse is in the centre of the Park.

For Google Earth users enter G41 4SN – from the traffic lights on the B768 Dunbreck Road, take the narrow lane SW into the Park. Bear right, turn left, turn right, bear left. The Rugby Club is beside the large oval track, on the right.

Directions: Google – Lochinch Police Club for a map which will show: Leave the M77 at Junction 1 and, as you approach the lights at the top of the ramp keep to the middle which will take you to the right hand side of traffic turning left. Keeping to the right hand lane as you immediately turn the corner you will see Haggs Castle Golf Club and Cartha Queens Park RFC on opposite side of the road. Turn right into Pollock Park and follow the road round until you see the Lochinch rugby pitches.

 

Sun 6 Oct 2012 9.30 BFCC at Shenfield Cricket Club Chelmsford Road Shenfield Brentwood Essex CM15 8RQ

10.00am – B100, #5, #7, T27, T38, T120 Distance and Accuracy competitions – entries £5.00 and Badge Scheme attempts £2.00. Members tuition and Badge Scheme attempts FOC as usual. Non-Members one ot one tuition £5.00 for 20mins and Badge Scheme entries £2.00. Refreshments available.

Directions: Leave M25 at J28 north east on A1023. Travel straight through Brentwood High St. and its mini round abouts, then downhill and straight through the traffic lights (A129 junction). The Cricket Club is 150 yards after the lights on the left hand side of a bend, immediately before the Vet’s Surgery. There is ample car parking and tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available in the club house.

For Google Earth users enter CM15 8RQ – travelling NE on A1023 after the traffic lights with Hutton Road on right, then Shorter Avenue on right, the cricket club entrance is 100yds on the left at the start of the bend.
